Brief History:
We
were established in 1922 in the village of Enstone by Thomas (Dickie)
Edmund Worth who started by repairing motor bikes, bicycles and
lawn mowers.
He later progressed to running Ford Model T taxis'
and then on to the char-a-bancs running day trips to the coast.
The 1990's have seen famous people using our services, notably
Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach and Douglas Hurd.
In 1997 the company celebrated 75 years
of business and continues to be run by Richard and his son, Paul
Worth with the motto still being well known as:
"For a rattling good ride"
The current fleet consists of twenty four vehicles
which vary from standard to executive coaches and are used on
a variety of work ranging from contracts, stage service to private
charter.
1957 saw this brand new Bedford Duple Vega enter service. It is
still owned by the company, though presently not in service.
